Oh my gosh. I almost spit my soup out from laughing so hard listening to this podcast with Sean Hayes and Dr Wali interviewing Margaret Cho about her plantar wart, toenail fungus and athletes foot. Do not eat soup while listening to this episode! But enjoy this and all of their other funny medically-related episodes!

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of my owning Seattle Reflexology & Massage Center. It is astounding to me. The day I acquired the business I was bouncing off the walls with excitement!![]()
I'm deeply grateful for the experience and the education it has offered to me and others in its many iterations and locations over the years.![]()
I would like to express my thanks and good wishes to ALL the wonderful people who have been a part of this journey with me - every client, student, colleague and teacher. You’ve each taught me so much along the way. I would love to name each of you in this post, but will just name a few.![]()
Huge and special thanks to Alida Schuh for helping make it happen every day along the way, for over 10 years. Thanks to practitioners Shirley Keller, Sue Gaughenbaugh, Bernadette Fleming, Lisa Dowling, Amy Goetz and Stephanie Abram for being superb colleagues and reflexologists within the practice.![]()
Although as of April, 2022 we are no longer offering the entire reflexology certification program and are instead offering individual classes, I want to acknowledge and appreciate the core reflexology class instructors who contributed their knowledge and passion for so many years: Neil McNeill, Jessica Crofoot, Pam Foster, Bethany Jorgenson, Lisa Dowling, and Amy Goetz.![]()
To the national and international guest instructors through the years who have woven an amazing tapestry of different approaches to reflexology into the program and the reflexologists of the PNW and far beyond, a community-worth of thanks go out to Bill Flocco, Dorthe Krogsgaard, Peter Lund Frandsen, Lynne Booth, Sue Ricks, Jesus Manzanares Corominas, Sally Kay, Lone Sorensen, Geraldine Villeneuve, Nico Pauly, Griet Rondel, Christine Lynne Stormer-Fryer, Hanne Marquardt, Sharon Stathis, Dr. Ray Mcclanahan, Inge Dougans, Karen Ball, Bill Runquist, Dr. Bill Mitchell, Susanne Enzer, Maryejo del Meijer, Jade Shutes, Christine Freeland, Karen R Kraft, Teri Hoskins, Anne Williams and Michelle Thibert. Thank you for your inspiration, energy and brilliance. You have played a powerful role in the development of this school and of the broader reflexology community.![]()
Profound thanks go out to the professional reflexology organizations and their volunteers who have supported our fair profession in untold ways throughout the years: Washington Reflexology Association and each of the other state reflexology associations, Reflexology Association of America RAA, Reflexology International Council of Reflexologists ICR and American Reflexology Certification Board.![]()
It's an amazing thing, this reflexology. As Christine Issel has said many times at conferences around the world, "Reflexology changes lives". She is so right!![]()
I love this ever-intriguing jewel, this magnetic and powerful force for deep healing, this invisible builder of relationships and community, this art and science of REFLEXOLOGY!!! — 🥰
